目前家庭人均月收入在100元RMB以下的特困生，占清华本科生的10％。作为一位成功的海外校友, 您可通过捐资助学的义举，使他们减轻负担、安心学业。将来受助学生步入社会，也将回馈母校，继续参与励学金捐赠活动，使之成为清华精神与文化的一种传承。
若您捐款每年达6500人民币(一名本科生一年的学费及住宿费), 可以冠名此项捐款 (以您自己或您选定的名字) -“清华XXX校友励学金”。校友相关集体或团队（如班级、年级等) 亦可共同参与捐款并以之冠名. 清华在收到捐款后, 会给您发感谢信和证书，及在校友网上公布您的捐赠．并在开学前给您提供一份贫困学生的名单及具体情况，可供您选择受助学生．您有权利与您的受助学生建立通讯联系，随时了解他的情况．

About 10% of THU undergraduate students are from families that can't afford the 6500RMB($970) yearly tuition. To help those young genius to finish their college study and become future academic & business leaders, THAA is calling for THU alumni to donate to the students financial aid fund.
If the donation is greater than $970, either from a single alumnus or from a group of alumni, then the donation will be used on specific student(s) for a whole academic year. The contributor(s) will have the right to name the fund freely in the format of THU xxx Alumni Financial Aid, and will receive the thank-you letter and donation certificate from THU. Contributor(s) can choose the beneficiary from the student pool and can maintain long term communications with the student(s) supported.
